1) Please consult the DACB All Potential Subjects page or the EGYPT page to see if the DACB already has a biography of the person you wish to write on. Each country index has a link at the top to the Potential Subjects page for that country. If the DACB does have a story on your subject, please ensure that your biography contains NEW information or a different perspective so as to avoid creating duplicate material.
2) DACB-Wiki is a history project, not a “Who’s Who” of living subjects, and as such, does not accept biographies of living people. There are issues of discretion that arise when writing about individuals who are still alive. Biographies of living subjects will be removed. It also follows, then, that autobiographies are not acceptable.

Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, Rev. Herbert E Randall was, first of all, a Holiness Movement Church missionary in Asyut, and then a Pentecostal missionary in Cairo. Randall was born into a Methodist family in Eastern Canada. As a young man living in Ottawa he came under the influence of Methodist revivalist Rev Ralph Horner and through his ministry came to vital Christian faith. In 1895 Horner was deposed from ministry in the Methodist Church for refusing to take a pastoral charge. Within months he birthed The Holiness Movement Church, based in Ottawa, Canada.
