Of Regent, West Africa. A Native Christian of the Ibo and Yoruba Tribes. At the Grammar School, Freetown, and Fourah Bay College. Schoolmaster at Kissey Road. 1873, September 21, ordained a deacon and 1875, Trinity Sunday, ordained a priest by Bishop of Sierra Leone. Stationed at Freetown as Curate of Trinity Church. 1874, Curate of Kissey. 1877, March, Pastor at Hastings. 1884, August 31, Colonial Chaplain at Freetown. 1892, February 11, died at Sierra Leone. Son of John Christopher Taylor (1st).
