Of Regent, Sierra Leone, West Africa. Native Christian of the Eboe Race. At Grammar School, Freetown, and 1864, at Fourah Bay Institution. Schoolmaster at Waterloo. 1868, Catechist at Bonny. 1871, March 12, ordained a deacon and 1872, May 26, ordained a priest by Bishop Crowther. Stationed at Bonny. 1876, resigned. Translated hymns and a primer into the Ibo language, for the use of the Bonny Mission.
