Yeshaq, Abunä, was a monk of the monastery of St. Anthony in Egypt who was chosen by John VI, Patriarch of Alexandria from 1189 to 1216, to succeed Abunä Mika'èl of Fua. He set out for Ethiopia in 1210 accompanied by his brother and assistant, Yoséf. He was possibly succeeded by Abunä Giyorgis.
