Hirutä-'Amlak, Abba, was a disciple of Abba 'Iyäsus Mo'a, and became a saint of the Ethiopian Church. He is said to have preached in Säkra as far as Gazgé, in Aläfa, and in the land of the Agäw. He was the founder of the famous island monastery of Daga Estifanos on Lake Tana.
