Guba, Abba, was, with Abba Zä-Mika'él 'Arägawi, one of the Nine Saints of the Ethiopian Church. He reputedly came from Cilicia and, after remaining with Abba Päntäléwon for some time, he went out into the desert of Bäräka and disappeared. Together with Abba Afsé, he is commemorated on the 29 Genbot (5 June). By a scribal error, they sometimes appear in the manuscripts as two of the ninety saints.
