Giyorgis, Abunä , was a Metropolitan of Ethiopia, probably a successor of Abunä Yeshaq. He was in office in 1225, and one tradition has it that in his time, in the reign of Emperor Lalibäla, the Kebrä Nägäst ("Glory of Kings") was brought to Ethiopia.
